An independent planning guide, not a booking site

Vivid Trek Nepal exists to help first-time trekkers choose a route from Pokhara and prepare for it properly. Every route page is built from the official day-by-day itineraries and permit rules published by Nepal’s tourism and immigration authorities, with Wikipedia used only for geography such as elevations and place descriptions. Sources are listed beside the content they support.

How the content is made

Route facts — duration, highest point, season, trail character, permits — are drawn from Nepal Tourism Board, the Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal, the Government of Nepal tourism portal and the Department of Immigration. Altitude guidance additionally cites the U.S. CDC Yellow Book. Photographs come from Wikimedia Commons under Creative Commons licences and are credited on each page and on the credits page.

What this site does not do

It does not take bookings, payments, messages or newsletter sign-ups, and it does not rank agencies or sell trips. The route library, difficulty guide and trek-brief builder run entirely in your browser. Final itineraries, permits and guides must be arranged through an appropriately registered provider.
